Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use Viseur.

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Your reading preferences (dark mode)
  • Articles you have saved to Favorites
  • Whether you have completed onboarding

None of this data is transmitted to us or any third party.

Firebase

Viseur uses Google Firebase to store and deliver articles. When you open the app or visit this website, your device connects to Firebase servers to fetch published articles. Firebase may collect basic usage data such as your device type and region as part of its standard service. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and is not accessible to us.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information
  • We do not serve ads
  • We do not track your reading habits
  • We do not sell data to any third party
  • We do not use analytics or crash reporting tools

Children's Privacy

Viseur is designed for high school students. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including minors. Since no accounts or personal data are required, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be available here at viseur.us/privacy and in the app. Continued use of the app or website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
